Welcome to Karta Pintingga Country.
The Kangaroo Island Marathon was established in 2015 and has welcomed runners representing 23 countries and every state in Australia. The course route carves its way through the heart of a shutdown Flinders Chase National Park. Runners will be inspired by post-bushfire regenerating flora and fauna, undulating and deviating roads, an exposed coastal section with cliff top views to the powerful southern ocean and a boardwalk leading to the iconic Remarkable Rocks.
