Kangaroo Island Marathon Race Location
The Kangaroo Island Marathon is run through the Flinders Chase National Park.
Adelaide, South Australia is the closest capital city.
- From Adelaide it is just shy of a 2-hour drive to Cape Jervis where you can take the ferry to Kangaroo Island with SeaLink.
- The ferry takes approximately 45 minutes to land in Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island.
- From Penneshaw it is about a 1.5-hour drive to the Flinders Chase visitors Centre and Starting Area.

Kangaroo Island Marathon Course Map & Elevation Chart
The full marathon starts on the road at the entrance to the Flinders Chase National Park. Runners will take on an out-and-back course to the Remarkable Rocks and return to finish at the Flinders Chase Visitors Centre.
Toilets are available at the Flinders Chase Visitors Centre and Remarkable Rocks. Additional services such as toilets and aid stations on course will be confirmed in the event participant guide.
Kangaroo Island Half Marathon Course Map & Elevation Chart
The half marathon starts at the Remarkable Rocks. Runners will take on a point-to-point course finishing at the Flinders Chase Visitors Centre.
Toilets are available at the Flinders Chase Visitors Centre and Remarkable Rocks. Additional services such as toilets and aid stations on course will be confirmed in the event participant guide.
Kangaroo Island Marathon SeaLink 10km Course Map & Elevation Chart
The SeaLink 10km starts on the road at the entrance to the Flinders Chase National Park. Runners will take on an out-and-back course into the park and return to finish at the Flinders Chase Visitors Centre.
